Day 22 - How Hill to Irstead

Tuesday 9th October 2018 - Day 22 -How Hill to Irstead.

Lovely sunny evening. Thanks to staff at Toad Hole Cottage for allowing us to launch at their staithe. Interesting trip down the river this evening as not only did I find a pumpkin with a weird message written on it but I also managed to rescue some helium balloons for a couple on a hire boat who were celebrating their wedding anniversary. The man was planning to swim the river to get to the balloons which were stuck on a bush. They were delighted I managed to get them.
