Day 18 St. Benet's Abbey to How Hill

Sunday 30th September 2018 - Day 18

Despite being a beautiful sunny day, it turned out to be a strange trip out on the river today. We encountered problems with boat owners both private and hire boats especially around Ludham Bridge where we got squashed ....literally. I've said before about feeling very vulnerable out in a kayak amongst boat traffic but sadly today we experienced it. Lucky to alive.....

Then it got stranger as I found a message in a bottle dated 18 months ago and a blow-up flamingo drinks holder amongst the many items retrieved from the river today.
